Sitarro....

Sure sorry about Amos man. 13 years is pretty good for a city cat though. All that fine dining and Chinese Food can take it's toll eventually. LOL.

Amos had it made dude. You're a good cat yourself and I'm sure he had a good life.

I'm sure that tonite and forever Amos will reside in Cat Paradise with perfect health and a new set of balls,

an abundance of foxy felines, a never ending supply of cat-nip, slow moving mice and dogs that he can chase up trees for a change.

Thank you all for your kind words, it's been a hard couple of days. Amos was a very special guy. I have had quite a few cats in my life and Amos was easily the most laid back of them all. He loved everyone, humans, dogs, other cats, he got along with all of them. I first met him at Pet Smart, he was up for adoption and I was on my way home from a cat show. It turns out that he was 3 years old and had lived 4 houses down from me with an old lady that had just died. I met her grand daughter who worked at Pet Smart. She took him out of his cage and let me hold him, that was it, I had to adopt him. I held him for a half hour while I talked to the young lady about his life, he never moved, he was ridiculously content. When I brought him home he immediately went up to my Afghan Hound and rubbed against him, they were best friends after that.

He would freak my brother's Border Collie out. He would bring her over and Amos would walk right up to her and rub against her and then lie down in front of her. She would tremble with confusion, this was a cat and was suppose to run away from her. It was really funny to watch.

He seemed to enjoy being photographed and he had the best whiskers I've ever seen, I hate that I never captured them when he was alert, they changed completely and came forward at least a couple of inches....

I'm sure I'll get over it but he is greatly missed.

The pictures you posted of him shows how beautiful he looked.

But your description also shows his beautiful spirit and how much love he

brought to every living creature, he sounds very special and will always be

loved. I'm sorry for the grief you must be feeling, losing a pet is very hard.

Awesome pics of Amos, sorry to hear of your loss,

My mums cat Casper had to be passed away recently, he had been diagnosed with cancer about 6 months ago, but after a treatment of drugs they found that it had spead to his lungs and had to put him down, he was 11 years old,

There are no greater friends out there than animals, all they ask is to be loved and they love unconditionaly back,

Sitarro, I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my Cleo a few months back sp I know what you are feeling right now

While you may "get over it" after awhile, you will never forget about your friend. I still think about her everyday and she does live on in my heart and thoughts

Oh, so very sorry:(..... When they go its like a star in the sky goes dark.

Amos was a very handsome fellow and I think you and he were lucky to
have found each other. It was in the stars!!!
