The guy refused to answer Gore's question about endangered polar bears. Why shouldn't he have had his microphone cut-off?

Yes Joe, libs will cut any journalist's mike off, when they do not agree, without questiion, any liberal speaker
This is what liberals call "free speech".

Al should have done what liberal speakers do, had the questions pre-screened by his staff so these type of minor distractions would never have happened
Can't let facts get in the way of pushing his global warming BS

:laugh2::clap: Oddly enough, I'm sitting here thinking the same thing. I have heavy socks on and slippers and our temps have been cooling rather quickly this year. So if anything, that putz Gore should be touting global cooling....Anyway, I'm sure he'll do an about swing in the other direction, when he's figured it out that the people are onto him and his agenda......then we'll have to put up with his global cooling mantra......:lame2:

Severe weather alerts: North Central U.S. winter weather advisories
For the Twin Cities, how rare is this snow? The last time there was measurable snow in the Twin Cities in October was when 0.6 inches fell on October 20-21, 2002. So not terribly rare.
What is more unusual is having snow in the first half of October, which has happened only eight times in the past 60 years. The most snow recorded between Oct. 1 and Oct. 15 was in 1977 when 2.5 inches fell on Oct. 10, the Weather Service said. Thanks to startribune.com for those October snow stats.
In any case, a much quieter day is on tap for the Upper Midwest on Tuesday as high pressure takes control. Still, high pressure will come and go and as early as Tuesday night a new (but fairly weak) system moves in providing another shot at some wintry precipitation for some.
