I read this story (long, but worthwhile) and thought it was a terribly disrespectful decision by AP.

we already know where you're coming from....
If Bush was President this story would be on prime time on every network, and you along with the liberal commentators would be bitching about the lives of our young troops being wasted on this illegal war....and they would be paying the parents to bash Bush on Kieth Olbermann and Chris Matthews .......

Now its disrespectful? Throughout the Bush administration it was perfectly alright. Show dying soldiers. Show their funeral caskets. Gleefully count up the death toll and blame Bush for it all.

Now that Obama is in charge, it's disrespectful. Please. It's always been disrespectful! What the heck is wrong with these people????

This shows the arrogance of the media....even after being specifically asked by the parents to not publish this, and by Secretary Gates, the AP decided to do it anyway.....as a way to "educate" us stupid citizens about the "horrors" of war. What about the "horrors" of arrogance by the media.:dunno:
