So what would you call the libs who were convinced that Bush was going to declare martial law and refuse to leave the presidency??????
Check out how well cash for clunkers is doing and then get back to me about how well you think the gov. will do with our health care system.
Do you think for yourself or just regurgitate Chris Mathews?

Don't think I have ever heard John Matthews. I am not familiar with him.
Only conservative Republicans blindly follow (and quote) talk show hosts. Rush Limbaugh runs the GOP these days.

Why do you people always assume that because someone disagrees with you that they are blindly following someone?
Did it ever occur to you that people think things out and actually form opinions that are contrary to your own?

IF she had an independent thought she might come to that conclusion. As it is she is incapable of having a discussion about healthcare because she is to busy posting insulting articles from the LA times.
Everytime she's been asked a serious question she disappears for a few days only to return with a stuid picture.

Congratulations! That statement made absolutely no sense whatsoever.
I think it is funny how ConReps label every media source that doesn't 100 percent agree with them as "the liberal media."
Proving once again that ConReps believe there is only one side to every story and issue.

Dude, it's a metropolitan newspaper. It's just as liberal as it conservative.
Now, YOU tell me -- what is it that you find to be "liberal"? Please tell me.

What I find liberal is all of LA, look around Gabby California has to be the most liberal place in the country
I am all for everyone having there own opinion, as you know, all I am saying is before ya take the LA times to heart cross reference it
You referred to conservatives watching Rush, I don't take everything he has to say as gospel, I read, look , listen to all and then form a judgement
I am in no way trying to tell you how to think, just telling you what I do

Hiding, Nukeman? It's called "having responsibilities." You know, like a job and a family. Those things.
I'd like to know what you people feel are "fair" and "real" news sources. Fox TV? The New York Post?
You are not going to find both sides of the story expressed there.

Actually, Fox Network has a pretty liberal lineup with shows like the simpsons, Family guy, American Dad, etc. FoxNews does lean more towards the conservative side with the stories that they cover and the hosts that they employ. However, they are the most centered news network out there and thats why they are #1 in ratings. You can say other networks are more center and FoxNews is far right but then the ratings would suggest that a majority of the country is far right then. Now if the majority of the country was far right, would they have elected a socialist as president and congress?
The bottomline is, FoxNews is more trusted than any other news network out there by virtue of their ratings alone.

The Los Angeles is most certainly one of the top three Liberal newspapers in the country. The only reason it sells any papers is men who get it for the Sports Section, which is the only reason I would buy a newspaper frankly. The rest of it is an aditorial page, not a "news" paper. Oh...and the crossword puzzle is good too.

Gabby kind of hard to find a media source that isn't biased 1 way or they other, but I listen to all different radio shows while on the road, watch many different news shows when I get to watch TV, and scan the net

OK, I am sitting at my desk during lunch, reading the L.A. Times and wondering what exactly is "liberal" about it.
There are various articles that both support and criticize various Obama policies and decisions. (When was Bush ever criticized on Fox?). There is an opinion piece castigating Barney Rubble for blowing his top at a town meeting.
You want media that is 100 percent supportive of your cause, read a right-wing blog. Enough of them are reprinted on this message board.
I have few complaints about Rush Limbaugh. I listen to him sometimes. Because my husband is a fan. Rush is the leader of the Republican party and knows how to get his point across.
Some of more ignorant members of the conservative media -- Hannity, Coulter and Malkin, to name a few -- I have less respect for because they are just out for the bucks. They are second-line hacks lapping up Limbaugh's remains.

Guess what genius??? Most of us on here have families and responsibilities long before you ever thought of crawling out of your parents house into your husbands. YOU act like your the only one on here with a child and a job.
I have been in health care almost as long as YOU have been alive, so take your sarcasm and shove it.
AS for a family once again almost as long as you have been alive, and I have 4 children that have been allowed to make their own decisions politically, they have some liberal leaning ideas but they also feel they make their choices and must deal with the consequences so I guess you would consider them conservative since they take "responsibility" for themselves and don't expect a hand out!!!
NO you don't answer questions at all. YOU have started a number of hit post lately and than vanish and NEVER respond to legitimate questions and debate. YOU will however take the bait on the trolls of this board (they know who they are) and you are fast approaching their caliber by IGNORING the post of questions pointed at you in YOUR threads!!!!

How is California anymore "liberal" than Texas? Or any other state?
I have lived in 4 different states within the last 10 years:
California
Wisconsin
Virginia
Maryland
Ranked from far left to far right:
1. California
2. Maryland (unfortunately where I am right now, they follow the lead of CA EVERY TIME)
3. IT'S A TIE!! Between VA and WI
The only reason I even consider it a "tie" between VA and WI is because places like Milwaukee, Madison and Northern Virginia tend to be VERY liberal, while smaller towns in Wisconsin and cities in Southern Virginia tend to be more conservative.
California was, by far, the most liberal place I've EVER lived. With some exceptions (although very few) people were all about "what's in it for me?" and "someone owes ME something". And I lived in 3 very different areas of California - all with their own unique problems, but the mentality stayed the same.
Have you ever lived outside the state of California? And I'm not talking about a one-week vacation, I'm talking about LIVING somewhere...
There's a reason they call California the "left coast"

Oh, so sorry I misspelled a word.
I've tried repeatedly to talk to you about health care, I have yet to mention a news source. I've simply stated facts that I know based on working in health care for 20 years.
BTW the LA times is very liberal, I read it on line often. How do I know this???? I've read the sappy sob stories about how we should feel sorry for those poor ILLEGALS that SNEAK into our country.

Gabby,
Look at the editorial page of any publication and you can tell if that publication is either liberal or conservative. The LA Times did not endorse a presidential candidate for over 36 years .... until it endorsed Barak........which should tell you without a doubt that it is liberal.

I fail to follow that logic. One endorsement does not make you a "liberal" publication.
ConReps usually label any media source that is not 100 percent conservative as "liberal."

Gabby,
I'm sorry that my logic is too complicated for you. However, I'm also having difficulty following your logic. So, are you saying that any publication that does not agree 100% with the ConReps is labeled as liberal? If this is true, then all publications are liberal because it is impossible to agree 100% with ConReps.....their beliefs cannot be contained in a little box all clean and neat so that a publication can either agree or disagree. The vast belief system of ConReps reminds me of fractals.....infinitely complex and yet at the core, vastly similar. So, with so many iterations, how can a publication ever agree 100%?
