Alec Baldwin doesn’t see much of a moral difference between Michael Vick and anyone who isn’t a strict vegan:

[Vick] suffers an unfair disadvantage as compared to, say, the heads of a meatpacking plant or the directors of a medical research lab where animals are suffering the cruelest imaginable abuses behind walls and doors that remove them from our sight and, therefore, judgments. … Each day in this country, millions upon millions of animals are suffering lives of daily abuse in factory farming, but we turn away because that animal, unlike Vick’s dogs, ends up on a grill and then on our plates. …

Vick deserves another chance. One chance. Just like all of us who eat meat, drink milk, attend rodeos, circuses, zoos and horse races and yet find it easier to hand Vick the bill for all of the other, more systemic abuses in our society may find ourselves needing another chance one day. Just like Michael Vick.

You are so right S.....we definitely need to listen to what these people are saying and I think we need to stop sitting here and thinking --- "these guys are so off their rockers no one will listen or even think about voting them in", because,

GUESS WHAT!!!???? They ARE actually getting elected. Those of us who think they are idiots are quietly helping them get elected because we are not speaking up. What this country is about to experience is a serious case of backlash.....common sense no longer exists. We can't just sit around and shake our heads at the nonsense....we need to be vocal and visible. We have the money and we have the intelligence to make ourselves heard.

I'm absolutely pissed off at the Liberal Elite thinking they know what is best for me. They got that attitude because I sat back and let them get away with crap because, frankly, I didn't think the lunacy would prevail.

Interesting that a man (truly I do use the term loosely) who would come unhinged about meat and milk consumption would portray himself as an alien who will slurp up the gooey brains of human beings (members of the animal kingdom, so I've heard). :eek:
