Obama admits that the private sector works best

In the Presidents town Hall meeting today he admitted that the private sector works the best and government screws things up. It was inadvertent but that is in essences what he was saying.


I mean, if you think about -- if you think about it, UPS and FedEx are doing just fine, right? No, they are. It's the Post Office that's always having problems. (Laughter.)

From what I've seen, the Private Sector (that's you and me) have been allowing him EXACTLY that. We've been gradually turning over more and more control of formerly-private things (business, healthcare, unemployment support, zoning, workplace safety, retirement etc.) to Obama, or the ones that came before him.

Nice to see a few conservatives finally speak up at these town hall meetings. But is it too little, too late?

The socialists got knocked back in 1993 with the defeat of Hillarycare and the booting out of Democrats from every majority in Congress. But despite that positive step, the overall trend has been to slide ever more into socialism - a trend that continues to this day.

The CONSTITUTION doesn't allow Obama to have control over everyone's lives. But the socialists have been blithely ignoring it... and the Private Sector (remember who that is?) has been letting them get away with it. Again, a few are now speaking up. But will that soon be brushed over and ignored as the speakers go back to their jobs and their families, and Obama Inc. continues the long-term trend?
