In Afghanistan, Kabul actually there is a US soldier being held captive. His name is PV1 Bowe Bergdahl. I suggest we put down all business of military operation and immediately move to locate and recover this young man. I say this because I doubt we are doing all we can to accomplish this. As far as I am concerned we should grid search the entire city of Kabul until he is located and do it NOW!!!! Kill anyone who refuses us access to any area to search. We must show our enemy that we mean business when it comes to taking our soldiers captive.

The Liberal media isn't even covering it with any regularity. Fox is posting it at least once an hour, sometimes more. I immediately demand that our Commander and Cheif give direct orders to the people on the ground to immediately locate this soldier. I also demand as US citizen and veteren that he issue an ultimatum immediately that he follows up on to demand his unconditional release.......NOW! I am not interested in his damn speech he gave this morning about health care or his sick ass socialist agenda this morning, I want my soldier released and I want him released right the hell NOW!

I want every damned resource available to the United States military employed immediately to undertake recovery of this soldier. I do not care about anything else at this moment. I do not care about the President trying to convince us only moments ago that the Health care thing not being about him. I don;t care about his agenda. I want him to act like he is concerned about this soldier. I want to him say it. I want to hear him say it again and again. I want him to go to his office.....not London.....and orchestrate a plan to recover my US Army soldier. That is what the hell I want my president to do right NOW!!!!!

As we breathe, the world is learning how weak we are and this is no doubt going to take place at every opportunity by our enemy now that we have shown we do not address the issue promptly or take it seriously enough.

RECOVER MY SOLDIER MR. PRESIDENT.......DON"T TAKE ANOTHER DAMN BREATH OR CONCERN YOURSELF WITH ANOTHER PIECE OF MY BUSINESS UNTIL YOU HAVE ADDRESSED THE ISSUE OF OUR SOLDIER 24 HOURS A DAY UNTIL HE IS RESCUED!!!!!!!!!

If he is not rescued, I expect that you give orders to kill anyone and everyone who could have even remotely possibly been involved in his incarceration. Make our enemy fear us Mr. President or you are in for one hell of a long ride sir. Do it soon, I suggest right now, and do it right!

This makes no sense at all. Americans are being held captive all over the world.
I am sure diplomatic efforts are under way as we speak. Give it time to work.

I beg your pardon Gab but where else are Americans being held as prisoners where their life is in immediate danger such as this soldiers?

By the way. You don't use diplomatic means to extract soldiers who are being held. You use military force to extract them.

Where are Americans being held captive all over the world? Please list.

Two Americans are currently being help captive in North Korea. Several are being held in Somalia. And others in Brazil.

Another point, merely to play devil's advocate:
What if the Afghan rebels decide to classify our solider as an "enemy combatant"? Could they not hold him without charges?
What right would we have to demand his return when we are holding "enemy combatants" ourselves?

I can respect that question and have an answer for it. NOTE: Remember I am anti-war Gab so keep that in mind.

Our soldier has no religious doctrine or belief that motivates him to align himself with the Army for the purpose of supporting or actually killing innocent people. Jihadists do!

Furthermore...and with all due respect I don;t give a hoot's damn about what they want. That soldier is an American and for that reason first I want him retrieved. Secondly, he is a soldier willing to risk his life...either in Afghanistan or here at home in my defense and I appreciate that. I genuinely appreciate it!

I am sure he is considered by our enemy to be an enemy combatant. I don;t care. We go by standards our enemies do not Gabby. Those of us with a clear understanding of this don;t waste our efforts fooling ourselves about the politics of war. To a soldier in the field left and right don;t really matter that much...if at all. He is an American and I want him rescued and I want him rescued now.

As for the two journalists held in North Korea. I want them returned also. I am however resigned to say that your diplomatic solution may be a bit more in order in that regard.....HOWEVER....I want it done also. I am perfectly Ok with bombing Kim Jong Il's house if necessary to accomplish this but I know that our president is not about to think of this. If Ronald Reagen were President however I can assure you they would be returned. Why? Because he was feared! He gave an ultimatum and other countries knew he meant business. Just ask Kadafi, he can personally attest to this fact.

Gabby, there does come a time when force is the diplomatic answer. To maintain our security we must employ a tactic of instilling fear in our adversaries minds. We live in a dangerous world.

Now...remember, I would rather have our troops come home right now if given the choice. I am tired of being the world;'s police officer frankly and given the talk that came out of our president's mouth during the campagne, I would think most liberals are very disappointed right now at his lack of ability to lead our military home. He is a joke as a Commander and Cheif. Where is all the complaints about collateral damage to innocents by you guys like you did when GW was president. Now all of a sudden we have a different standard of wghose fault this stuff is. Guess what, innocent people are dying on Barack Obama's watch. Do I blame him? NO. I'm too much of a realist for that.

America needs to be respected and we don;'t command respect when our enemies can flipon the TV and see BO not addressing the issue of Americans being held abroad. By my demanding that Bowe Bergheld, I may have his name wrong, I am not trying to ignore others but he is a soldier captured in conflict and anyone captured in that manner should have every effort made to secure his release immediately.

The rest of the world watched when Raum Emanuel said, "We have always been and I believe we are now...a nation of cowards." I don;t think this type of activity is productive. I believe bombing Kadafi's house is when you wish to establish a precedent of making the world believe you are intent on being strong. I want to see our president threaten our enemy. I want to see him act like GW and tell them they will lose and we will beat them. This is damn war honey, it isn;t a game of monopoly. We aren't going to reset the board and play another game when we are done. We have a situation occurring right now that may define how our enemy reacts to us during this whoile campagne. I would think it prudent that our president rise up and act like a determined leader of our country.

I want my soldier rescued and I want him rescued NOW. I hope you feel the same way.
