I didn't know you from Kentucky. Are you close to Ohio/Cincinnati?

Not really, I live on the Ohio river right beside Indiana. It's the closest state to me anyway. We're down the river from Louisville a bit if you follow it.

I'm not sure where they got the figgers. Here we pay about 7%, not 11 as posted. Also I noticed NH is among the lowest, but everyone lives in trailers cuz the RE taxes are 2nd highest in the country.

Do you still have the personal property tax in NC? Maybe they figure that in to get the 11%?

The only personal property taxed are vehicles, and at the same rate as your RE taxes. So unless you're a wigger with an Escalade and a job at McD's, it doesn't add up.

We're at #11, and with all the new proposed tax increases, I think they are really pushing for first place...

They must have changed things. When I was at Bragg in the mid 70s I remember they wanted to know about all property you owned on the state form. Maybe I'm wrong about that it has been along time ago.

School first though, right? When do you expect to head for Atlanta?
