What were the odds that the Dem majority in the House would want to investigate that San Fran Nan had lied to Congress, the nation, and the world, about the minor matter like whether the CIA had briefed Congress on the use of waterboarding?
How is that hope and change going for you?
WASHINGTON (AP) - House Democrats on Thursday defeated a Republican push to investigate House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's claims that the CIA misled her in 2002 about whether waterboarding had been used against terrorism suspects.
The House voted 252-172 to block the measure that would have created a bipartisan congressional panel. Rep. Rob Bishop, R-Utah, sponsored the resolution.
"This is partisan politics and an attempt by the Republicans to distract from the real issue of creating jobs and making progress on health care, energy and education," said Pelosi spokesman Nadeam Elshami.

I would like to see what, if any, CIA records exist and what they recorded. Pannetta was not privy at the time in question so his answer is void. You would think a member of CIA at the time could clear this up. That they have not come forward indicates to me a no confidence in countering Pelosi's remarks.

What ass backward logic that is....Big Leon is the boss, he can see any records he wants to see, anything he wants to see...past and present....there is no investigation by Dems because Pelosi would be proven a liar, and that ain't gonna be allowed to happen...

That being Panetta was NOT present at the meeting. All he has is hearsay. So shut up and find something new to whine about! Or have a CIA member who WAS there speakout.

Hey April, how long will you allow the crickets to keep chirping?
Do you have a problem with this PDF showing Pelosi did attend the briefing as reported in the Washington Post?
