last week a friend of mine was telling me that a friend of his was using marijuana to deal with the pain of his terminal cancer.....he said he was paying $400 an ounce for medicinal marijuana......6 and a half tons.....

Damn, I figured I could switch, I never liked weed much. Easier to quit. My guess is my lectures might become more 'engaging' as I'd include popcorn!

The reason why it will never be legalized is that they can't tax it, since the plant literally "grows like a weed", anyone with a window and a flower pot can grow as much as they need any time of year. Contrast this with tobacco, which requires certain growing conditions, relatively complex curing and is consumed in greater quantities.
