Great video, often times we forget that we are a Republic and not a democracy. We have a constitution that limits the powers of the federal government, and granting to the states and ultimately the people the power to limit the government. God I hope that one day we all remember this, but it seems that we are too eager to continue to vote for those politicians that given the most to us the people.

Since gov't is gaining more and more control and things are escalating, I don't even want to think about where we will end up within the next 20 years. Heck, with all the nuclear bombs around the world at the ready, we could all end up in one big pile of nuclear dust. :blowup::blowup:
And we are headed straight for that New World Order that has been in the making for ions. Yippy!

I don't even think they teach in schools that we are a REPUBLIC anymore...and you ever notice, all the Democrats in government always refer to us as a democracy..why do you think that is.?

The concept of "socialism" did not exist at the time. What the founding fathers wanted was a republican (small 'r') form of government that protected the rights of its citizens.

The founders gave congress the power to tax primarily to repay debt owed by the government for the revolution. I'll bet you a case of beer of your choice that you cannot point out one social program directed at citizens under your definition of General Welfare provided by the founders... Providing for the general welfare were evident only in strong national defense, foreign policy activities, canals and waterway management... all federal government activities were void of compassion until the twentieth century when liberals re-defined General Welfare... compassion belonged to the family, church and community and not in government... Please provide some examples of Socialist Republic activities in the 18th and 19th centuries?
