VEEDERSBURG, Ind. — A couple who ran a baby-sitting service out of their home videotaped themselves performing sex acts with children, some as young as 2 months old, police said Friday.

Stephen E. Quick, 31, and Samantha Light, 25, both of Veedersburg in western Indiana, were being held on $100,000 bond in Fountain County Jail. Both faced preliminary charges of child molestation and child exploitation. Jail staff did not know whether either one had an attorney.

Police who searched the couple's home found a videotape depicting sex acts involving Quick and Light and at least four different children between the ages of 2 months and 6 years old, said Fountain County Sheriff's Deputy Bob Kemp.

"In 15 years of doing this job, it's the worst thing I've ever seen or imagined," he told WRTV. "Just horrible, just horrible It's a new low."

Police searched the couple's home after the parents of a 3-year-old girl reported that she told them Quick and Light had touched her inappropriately and photographed her at their home on Feb. 28.

Deputies seized several computers, cameras, a video camera, pornographic materials, drugs and drug paraphernalia. Several sex toys that appeared in the video were seized during a second search, police said.

Quick and Light were arrested March 5. Neither has a criminal history.

Authorities have removed the couple's daughter from their home.

Fact - Most children that have been sexually abused, know their abuser. (friend, relative, parent, teacher, coach, childcare provider.)

Fact - Neither of these two had previous criminal records, therefore the sex offender registry would have done nothing to prevent this crime from happening.

Parent's need to stop relying on the government to protect their children with these feel good laws, and start talking to their kids.

There still some things that we all agree on. Continuity can begin there. Differences in economic beliefs as opposed to social ones are usually motivated by two different sides of a person's thinking.

To me... this is a death penalty offense! There is no hope of rehabilitating these individuals. Of course, it is probable that when they get to prison, in the last place where justice would be properly delved out..... it will be delved out! Go Bubba!

To me... a two minth old should not be in the care of anyone but it's mother. The world we live in now however expects that mom and dad have to work in order to provide a decent life for the family. Now while this was not always the case, it is now! Who is really to blame? Just these two people or society as a whole?

I think that mother's should be at home with their children till school age, at least. Me personally I didn't want my children learning someone else's values. especially in today's world!

How refreshing! The way I see it when a child is small is there are always time for the parent's aspirations......both of them. If the first aspiration they both have is to have a strong well adjusted family whereas they have met the responsibility of providing thier children the best possible start they can have........ well it might be smart if a fellow finds himself a girl like you Dear.

Now... please understand that I am not close minded. I spent my entire adult life as a custodial single parent myself so I certainly am not neglegent to the fact that things happen. Men are not what they use to be! Many women get left in compromising situations whereas they have to work and do not get a choice. As the population grows so do the odds that there will be more irresponsible fathers. Its a numbers thing. I hate it for ladies who have to compromise themselves and go to work when children are small because some worthless ass man has left them or for whatever reason they have disconnected. The children always feel the brunt of the effect.
