An easy one to start;
A man lies dead in the middle of a field.
Beside him lies an unopened package.
As the man neared the centre of the field he knew he would die.
How did he know?
his chute failed to open?

Bingo! :) Got any to add yurt?
Here's two more easy ones;
What starts with T ends with T and is full of T?
Take away one of my letters and I am the same, takeaway two of my letters and I am the same, take away all of my letters and I am still the same, what am I?
