Not that I'm a huge James Cameron fan.... but started watching this last night on History Channel... .It shows how the story of Moses and the Exodus is proven through science:

I wonder how folks who claim the Bible to be nothing more than a "good story" will chew on this one..

I saw that a few months ago. It provides empirical evidence that the story did, in fact, happen, but still shows that it would have been virtually impossible without divine intervention. It's a HUGE string of ASTRONOMICAL coincidences.

Funny, in the video, I saw the lead investigator admit that they hadn't PROVEN the exodus. Did you miss that part?

It still provides a long list of empirical evidence that supports the Biblical account of Exodus, along with a plausible, scientific theory supported by that evidence.

Yes.. that's the beauty of this tho.... Is that they provide physical evidence that supports the Biblical accounts..

In addition.. they also found things like the parting of the Sea in Egyptian Hyrogliphics...etc..

And did they find evidence of a pillar of fire or a pilar of cloud? I also saw one that claims the cloud and fire were actually a spaceship. And that anti-gravity thrusters were used to part the sea. Makes about as much sense as the supernatural version.

Why do you resist God? I mean - you KNOW in your heart it's true; yet your mouth says otherwise. Are you scared? Don't be. God tells you things to HELP you...not HURT you. :) Plus - he MADE all of this..it's pretty neat to know him. :)

I resist mythology.

There is nothing mythological about God. He is as real as apple pie.

THE LOST TRAIL OF MOSES
Science sometimes confirms stories, but most are just that

(04-03) 04:00 PDT North Sinai, Egypt -- On the eve of Passover, the Jewish holiday that celebrates the story of Moses leading the Israelites through this wilderness out of slavery, Egypt's chief archaeologist took a bus full of journalists into the North Sinai to showcase his agency's latest discovery.

It didn't look like much -- some ancient buried walls of a military fort and a few pieces of volcanic lava. The archaeologist, Zahi Hawass, often promotes mummies and tombs and pharaonic antiquities that command international attention and high ticket prices. But this bleak landscape excited him because it provided physical evidence of stories told in hieroglyphics. It was proof of accounts from antiquity.

That prompted a French reporter to ask about the Exodus, and if the new evidence was linked in any way to the story of Passover. The archaeological discoveries roughly coincided with the timing of the Israelites' biblical flight from Egypt and the 40 years of wandering the desert in search of the Promised Land.

"Really, it's a myth," Hawass said of the Exodus, as he stood at the foot of a wall built during what is called the New Kingdom...
