what a racist....he just said that blacks living in cities were undeservedly poor whereas whites working in rural areas were deservedly poor
amazing, i really can't believe that the majority of people would have voted for him if they had known he wanted to eliminate welfare reform. clearly the media gave him a pass and it worked. this guy has an agenda from day 1

I knew about the welfare provision, the 80% Fed funding. What struck me though was the chart from Heritage about 'black children in poverty.' I know that for the past 15 years or so, middle-upper class blacks have been moving into higher income suburbs and assimilating well-because of shared mores. I do believe that a 'welfare mentality' destroys those mores.
