The problem I find with the liberal mind set in general is the total lack of original thought, the amazing lack of any logic whatsoever, the complete and total lack of actual facts when it comes to arguing politics, of course the extreme amount of naivety and the ridiculous lack of responsibility and understanding consequence......other than that they are great unless you dislike bigoted, negative, dumbasses that never grow up.

I would not go as far to say that I hate liberals as individuals, its more about the idealogy. Most of my own family would probably describe themselves as liberal or democrats, and I was one up until my mid twenties (about the time I joined the military). The truth is I wasn't very political at all back then, I did not keep up with current events and my knowledge of history was limited to what I was taught in school. I was ingrained with the idea that Reagan was a braindead moron and Clinton was a wonderful President. But as I got older I started to listen to political arguements alot closer than I ever did before, and I found myself agreeing less and less with Democrats. The more I looked at their domestic spending wishes, the more it looked like socialism. The more I listened to liberal democrats' speeches all I could hear is how us taxpayers should be paying for every young person's college tuition and everyone's health care. Never any emphasis on personal responsibility and paying for your own way through life. All I could hear from liberals was how all these poor people and minorities don't get a fair shot at life. On this, I call bullshit.

I grew up in a predominately hispanic area and went to a high school that was well over 60% Mexican. I sat there in the same classes as all of these poor minorities and guess what I saw - many of them threw away their taxpayer paid education because they didn't take it seriously. They cared more about their little gangs or who was going out with who than getting an education and moving on in life. And somehow its MY responsibility to pick up their slack and pay for THEIR kids to get a college education? I think NOT. My parents worked their asses off to educate themselves in order to get good enough jobs so they could put me through college, we never once got a hand out from the government, and believe me, neither of my parents was born into wealth. That is the number one thing I have a problem with on liberal domestic policies, there is a complete lack of responsibility for the individual.

Then there is the liberal foreign policy. Boy, where to begin here. I find it really amazing how liberals fail to learn from history when it comes to foreign policy(or lack thereof). I still cannot understand the logic behind the 'stick your head in the sand' policies that liberal Democrats have always used, especially when they've been proven to never work. Just look how Clinton did virtually nothing against the threat of radical terrorists. A shinning example of this is back in 1996 when the commander of a base in Saudi Arabia had been pleading with Washington to erect concrete barriers to protect the housing complex for military personnel in which the only existing protection from say a car bomb parked in the street next to was a chain linked fence. And what was the response from the liberal boobs in the Clinton administration? A concrete barrier would give too much of an appearance of separation between the US military and the local people. Sure enough, some terrorists parked a huge tanker right along that street and blew up the building. Luckily guards saw it and tried to evacuate, unfortunately 19 airmen still died. Chalk up another victory for liberalism. We wont even get into Al Queda and Bin Ladin nor the ultimate meltdown in foreign policy, one that we are still dealing with - Carter's policy on Iran.

I don't hate liberals I just view them as being completely out of touch with real world events, to the point where their ignorance become dangerous. Like it was for those 19 airmen that lost their lives, because some liberal cared more about people's feelings being hurt than protecting our own people from the many enemies lying in wait.

First off,I never said I had a problem with welfare for sick people or disabled people,or elderly...never have. I think you know the kind of welfare I am talking about. You know,the food stamps and welfare checks that go out to the mom's who have five babies and five different babies daddies(please excuse my slang!). I am all for helping people who NEED it because they LEGITIMATELY can't work or survive without.

As far as abortion,you don't think it's the governments business what a woman does with her body-o.k. Where is the decency? If you get pregnant,you have a baby. That's nature. Taking it out of the womb and putting it in a garbage can is unthinkable to me. I remember at about age 9 or 10 finding out what abortion was. I was flabergasted. "What?" I asked my mom. "You mean women are ALLOWED to do that?!!!" I couldn't believe that such a cruel unatural thing went on. On top of that,what about dad's that may want the child? They are certainly expected to support a child if mom "decides" she wants him or her.Who says that dad couldn't give that child a good life? He has no rights.

I half agree about the troops,I think they should be protecting our border since the border patrol can't even look at an illegal crosseyed without being arrested himself and put in jail.
