After 5 years of the total abandonment of our guaranteed right to speak out for or against any candidate we choose, what have we gained? Looks like our elections have become as clean as a fresh, spring breeze that blows right past the local dump. Way to go, government (and that means you, too, Bush and SCOTUS)

Good post, Hobbit. Anyone who thinks of McCain as a "moderate" choice needs to look at his attack on free speech in this bill.

This is why I will absolutely, positively, under no circumstances, to include a loaded gun pointed at my head, vote for McCain. He has betrayed the Constitution by impeding free political speech.

I wouldnt vote for him in most circumstances. But id rather have someone i thought was a sincere fool in office, then Clinton who i see as a dangerous fool.
