Kerkorian sells off Ford shares at deep loss
DETROIT (Reuters) – Billionaire investor Kirk Kerkorian has sold off all of his remaining shares of Ford Motor Co, completing a retreat from a high-profile stake in the No. 2 U.S. automaker that cost him hundreds of millions of dollars.

First On Race Day is well on its way to returning to profitability. There problems started a few years ago not just this year. They have retooled and have a great lineup of fuel conserving cars and hybrids.
if you say so...
maybe they can fix the ford sound (read rattles) while they are at it...never met a ford that did not rattle

I think I heard today they were not taking any $$ right now. I may be wrong but that's what I think I heard reported.

i never understood that...they go to the government...say we don't need a handout...but here we are asking for one, er a loan....they are still going to the government asking for money

Fine Old Ready Dependable asked for a line of credit because the financial market is so bad that Ford was unable to get a line of credit to fall back on if need be.
