so, our Republican US Representative.....Pete Hoekstra announced yesterday that he is not going to run again for re-election in two years.....coincidentally, our Democratic governor, Granholm is up for re-election at that time and local rumors are that he will be announcing his candidacy for governor.....
meanwhile a guy from our church, currently a state rep and previously a legislative rep for Hoekstra has announced his intent to run for Hoekstra's spot....Bill Huizenga is a name to watch....
