Has anyone noticed the low orbit of the moon the last several days? The moon is just rising above the palm trees to the east of my house now and it's the largest I can remember seeing it.

indeed, it's like 14% bigger than normal, due to several factors all happening at once it is the clearest it has been for thousands of years!
