So, what one thing do you want most for Christmas?
Yes, we all want world peace and good health. And yes, I understand and appreciate the true meaning of Christmas isn't in a package. But I'm thinking more along the lines of a wrapped gift, etc. You know- stuff.
I'll start with mine: a larger monitor.

A heavy barrel .22 target rifle. Preferably a Ruger 10/22.

well, if we are talking about the "I want but am not going to get" list, I would like a Ford F150 extended cab with the King Ranch option and moonroof.....I'm even willing to accept one with up to 80k miles on it already..../grins......

You know, every time I see a King Ranch edition, I always wonder if the owner knows what the King Ranch is or recognizes the significance of the ranch.

Not my intent..I really just don't want gifts. If I need or want something I prefer to find and buy it myself.

My list, the usual and the same every year, come down to just 2 things. I don't ask for much, just these 2 things. Please, Santa, don't forget me this year.

When I was a kid,we lived in Kingsville before moving to Houston. My dad tought English at what was the Texas A&I. A lot of people have no clue about the King Ranch. I hope to get back there next year.

An update on my hopeful gift, tickets for 3 shows went on sale this mornng, all sold out in minutes, and we were unlucky enough to be thrown of the ticketmaster website due to it being to busy :( but will be keeping an eye out for folks sellin tickets (prob at grossly inflated prices :( ) or hope he puts on more dates.

I suspect for you, she would be!
How are you doing, my friend? We haven't seen any of your terrific pictures lately.

The tickets from the ticketmaster website, fir the 3 minutes that they were available, were £40, so I paid a little over double which I thinks fair enough, just have to get flights and a hotel booked now, it's gonna be awesome though, in his home town, on his 50th birthday :)
His lyrics are awesome, up there with the great poets if our time, and in my view, all time. The song 'meat is murder' is simply outstanding.
