Police Protection is a misnomer. Free citizens must protect themselves. Police do not protect you from crime, they usually investigate the crime after it occurs and then call someone in to clean up the mess.

Reminds me of a rural convenience store I stopped in a few yes ago. The guy at the register was wearing a ball cap that said "I Don't Call 911". I was a bit puzzled by that...I wondered if he met don't come in here and ask me to call the ambulance for aunt Jane down the road because you don't have a phone. It was a rural area so I thought maybe he had just gotten feed up with such. Very unlike anyone in a rural area though, these folks will do anything for a neighbor or even a stranger. So now, I was even more puzzled. Then, after I handed him my money he turned slightly toward the register and revealed a large .357 strapped on his side. :lol:
That hat spoke loud an clear I just didn't hear it.
