My target is my avatar...9 rounds - 8 holes @ 20? feet. 2nd time firing the weapon. I need practice.

I am jerkin yer leg a bit...It is real but it was with a .22 rifle. I shot on a team for 4 yrs. and I was much younger then too...

Speaking of younger..9 is a good age for firearms introduction..:thumb:

Yup - she was skeerd of the gun until one night she and I went over field stripping it - I showed her what each part does. Now, she's good.

:laugh2: Hell...I can't see 50 ft anymore..but when I do shoot a target I'll post it.

I was playing hillbilly golf Saturday.

I was shooting at golf balls on their tees out at 100 yards. I kept shooting the tees instead of the balls. :coffee:

Okay well it was my 700p .308 w/ Leupold Mk4 16X on it but I was using regular old factory rounds, none that match grade stuff.

What a good papa teaching your girl proper.

LOL, it didn't come with open sights. Whats a fellar to do? Put a scope on it!

I have a 7mm mag like that..way tooo big for anything around here. It would be a great sniper gun though if there was ever a need.
