After ISPs essentially told the RIAA to buzz off, they had to find another place to turn, and have been attacking college students, but now, even those are standing up. More and more universities are refusing to turn over records without a subpoena, and now the University of Nebraska has demanded that the RIAA pay their expenses for the mess they had to go through to get the RIAA to back off. The RIAA even had the audacity to try to tell Nebraska that they were being irresponsible for not keeping track of assigned IP numbers longer than one month (the server assigns a new IP number every time the computer connects).
