If you want to make it personal then perhaps it would be suggested that the bloke made the offer to Sarah Palin because he thought she would accept it and didn't make one to Michelle Obama because he thought she wouldn't accept it.

Nothing personal about it, other than the obvious trashiness of the type of person who would offer such an outrageous thing. He knew she wouldn't accept it as well he knows Michelle Obama wouldn't.
