The video, which is posted on both the Obama website and You Tube, encourages Americans to take the day off on Election Day and help get out the vote. Are you working on Election Day?

A new video put out by Democratic Presidential nominee Barack Obama says you should take the day off! The video, which is posted on Obama's website as well as on YouTube, encourages Americans to stay home from work or school on Election Day and help him get out the vote by making calls and knocking on doors.

Workers are encouraged to 'Talk to your boss' because 'You can't make history from here'-- referring to your desk at the office.

Watch the video, then vote in our poll and tell us whether you're taking the day off on Election Day

My daughter's elementary school is a polling place and apparently they have decided to close the school this year for election day. That's just great!!!! Now I have to either take her to work with me or ask my mom to watch her. Taking off is not an option with our budget.

Personally, I think the polls in every state should open at mid-night ET (or pick any particular time that is convenient) and close exactly 24 hours later in every state. That way we don't have the media announcing that Obama has won before the polls close in the Midwest and all those farmers decide to go to bed rather than vote for a loser.

I see it at work everyday, there are those that would love to just sit there wasting time and collecting a check. There are also the people that can't sit still wasting time, it's not in their DNA, they must be accomplishing something. I voted last Sunday, there has been early voting here for weeks, there was no line...... out of there in 4 minutes. Democrats want to make it as easy as possible so that they can attract the lowest form of life on the planet, why not set up polls in bars, you could get sycho to vote that way.
