For the past two months, a major American magazine and an allied news service have been engaged in a legal battle with the United States Navy over records that they believe show that John McCain once was involved in an automobile accident that injured or, perhaps, killed another individual.

What is a "possibly fatal" car crash? Either someone died or didn't die. If somebody was killed wouldn't it had been reported in newspapers back at that time?

Then again if he did leave someone to die in a car after an accident, maybe he could become a prominate Democratic leader in the Senate.

Okay, let's say for the benefit of the doubt this is true. Let's say John McCain was in a car accident and that somehow died.

So what? People get in car accidents all the time. People die from Car accidents. It's not something evil. Accidents happen. Your own source alleges he was involved. it never said he was responsible. The other driver could have been drunk and smashed into him.

None of that invalidates him to be President. Nor does it make him any less qualified than Obama.

Not to mention its complete hypocritical of you, I know that doesnt matter much because you dont really care about your character. But you can't honestly say this is an important issue and yet:

PS: I'm ignoring the fact that I assume that they have that taken care of, but not being a pilot, I don't know (and don't really care to know) what exactly they do for that. Also, having taken ground school, I know that alcohol affects people much more drastically at higher altitudes.

You have no evidence an accident happened.
No evidence anyone died.
No evidence McCain was involved.
