Before the 12th amendment, that's how it would have been. Up until then, the loser took the VP slot. At least I think it was the 12th.

Obama was good, but McCain was better. He enjoyed himself, Obama almost seemed like he felt obligated to be there.

I don't watch it much myself these days, but I stumbled upon T. Boone and stopped, the the roast highlights came on and I stayed.

Like him or not, Bill has a good sense of humor. Gore used to, then he went all serious on the climate.

I remember seeing Gore on Letterman busting ashtrays and explaing why it costs the government $30,000 dolars for a toilet seat and hammer and stuff.
