I Didn't Get The Wii Craze, Until Now

I'm asking my kids to get me this (http://www.amazon.com/Nintendo-Wii-Fit-More/dp/B001GDGTBY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1222630173&sr=1-2) for Christmas along with the Wii Fit. I'll throw in $300 for each of them, they can split the difference, but it stays at my house. ;) Was at a friend's house who has it, it's worth the $$$.

my mom got the craze last christmas, the day BEFORE christmas. so guess who got to run around to dozens of stores in san diego trying to get the Wii? yours truly.....and i was not successful. that thing was nowhere to be found. after my failures, her, my brother and my wife had to go to the grocery store to get something and you know what she did, she made me try one last store :laugh2: so while they waited in car i ran into target and of course they did not have it, but good lord, i felt like arnold in that movie about the toy

My wife just had her Mom buy one in Florida, for our son, but the wife has a few things in mind for it as well. Now I'll never get to watch my own damn 52" TV!!!

It is totally worth it. I love ours. Even though I don't get to play as often as I would like, it is there when I can play and I will easily kill 4-5 hours just playing Tiger Woods 2009 and Harry Potter & The Order of the Phoenix.

My 5yo loves the Wii "Play", especially the tank one.

The night we got it, it was a 3-day weekend, and we played all weekend, only stopping to sleep at night (and charge the remotes). My arms hurt for 3 days!

I want Wii Fit, but that is something to put on my list for Christmas.

The wal-mart over by me gets their shipments of Wii's in on Tuesdays between 10 and 2, and Wii Fits on Fridays between 10 and 2

I got one but got board after a week, it seems to have left out any games consoles main audience (male 15-30) in favour of women, children and old people, I guess it's a good move from a marketing point of view, but bad if you are a man aged 15-30 who was expecting the wii to live up to the gamecube, ps3 for the win.

In Nintendo's defense, I think that's exactly what they were thinking. Every video game system in the world is geared towards the male 15-30 demo (though I'd go lower with that, say 8-30). It was smart, business-wise, for Nintendo to go after the many, many people who just didn't give a crap before.

ps3.......online play is free.........also it is one of the best dvd players out there.....

I have all three systems. Not on purpose, but I had the 360 and Wii, then a PS3 worked its way in somehow. They all pretty decent, just different varieties of gaming.
