And it only took him about 8 years to figure it out!!!!!!!!!

"one of most awesome moments in history of cable news"
With the days of the Bush presidency dwindling, and yet one more crisis ramping up, the talk is getting hot on the TV circuit.
Paul Begala, the television commentator and Democratic strategist who with James Carville propelled Bill Clinton to the presidency in 1992, knew he was about to get into trouble on CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360" show Thursday night with his description of President Bush. He said as much as soon as he opened his mouth.
Still, with a panel that included Ed Rollins, the Republican strategist who ran Ronald Reagan's 1984 reelection campaign, he blurted it out:
"I'm going to get in trouble. He's a high-functioning moron, and that's what Congress treats him as. Both parties."
To be sure, the panelists were egging each other on:
COOPER: "Watching the president last night give that speech, it was like watching him in Jackson Square in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. I mean, he did not seem to be there."
ROLLINS: "No, he wasn't there."
GLORIA BORGER: "He's not comfortable — "
COOPER: "He was physically there but — "
At which point Begala chimed in. And lit up the Web — from the liberal DailyKos site ("one of the most awesome moments in the history of cable news") to the conservative Media Research Center's NewsBusters ("What is it with Democrats and their grotesque slurs upon the intelligence of their political rivals?")...................

Everything is political, Kat, and certainly the antics and circumstances surrounding the present occupant of the Federal Housing in DC is appropriate to inject into any campaign.

You do remember what happened in 2000, the year the moron got appointed by the SCOTUS don't you?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Why do you insist on any amendment, Kat?
If the amendment was repealed then, why didn't Billy run again?
However, I would have thought the constitution was indeed amended on that fateful day in December, 2000. That, my friend, will go down in infamy as the most irresponsible act ever committed until at least then by the SCOTUS in deference to their selected POTUS. No red blooded American should ever forget that most ridiculous but far reaching denial and disenfranchisement of our population!!!!!!!!!!!! That decision along with the aftermath in the ill conceived presidency of one gwb should never be forgotten by anyone that saw it happen or may in the future become educated on the subject!!!!!!!!

Through almost 8 years of being called the most vile names by democrats; (democrats of some standing in their party, not just rank and file pinheads,)
George Bush has never once lashed out at these worthless pieces of shit in kind....
He has been the target of the most disgusting and repulsive comments that I've ever had the misforturn to witness in watching 50 years of political debate and news coverage.....
High level, well known democrats have shown they have no class and no qualms about getting in the gutter and slime with their most avid followers...
My discription of them, worthless pieces of shit, isn't adaquite to describe them....
I'm proud that President George Bush has never attacked these scum in kind...has always treated them with respect, though undeserved , and has always acted as a gentleman.
He has never disgraced his country or his office as some Presidents just a few years ago.....
He stands as a man of high morals and strong principle ....
He stands head and shoulders above the Begala's, Reids, Pelosi's, Durbans, etc. of the loathsome democrat party....:salute:

I agree with Begala. It takes one to make believe that it is okay to take over companies directly and consider it "capitalism" because they'll pay back loans... Everybody seems to ignore the direct control that the government took while doing it...
It takes one to think that, against the 10th Amendment, a grab at control of education at the national level is "awesome", it takes even more of one to think it would have worked if it was "properly funded". (NCLB)
It takes one to think that a pill bill socialism is good, even if it does bring huge profit to the drug companies without apparent benefit and without sane spending limitation.
It takes one to believe that the surge was something he shouldn't do for years and years, to remove the Iraqi military, to go after cities rather than secure territory, on and on...
There are about a million ways that Bush isn't all that great. But I keep standing in amazement that twice people ran against the guy and twice they didn't move into 1600 Pennsylvania Ave...
Time for the debate.

I have never said that all republicans are mindless automatons. We have, for example, a long history in Maine of electing wonderful republican senators.... Maggie Smith, Bill Cohen, Oly Snowe, Susan Collins.... I did not nor would not vote for any of them, but I was NEVER displeased that I was represented in the US senate by them.

Making claims with no proof doesn't help your case....
have any quotes? Trent Lott has never to my knowledge said anything about Clinton that comes even close to the gross disrespect of a personal nature said about Bush...
Nor has Delay to my knowledge, but it is possible with him....he had a sharp cutting wit and could be nasty at times...but its the degree of nastiness.... that only Dems can achieve...
