Obama’s promise to “free us of ME and Venezuelan oil in 10 years”. And to do this we will make (and sell 150 Million electric, hybrid cars).
I am tiered of every word by McCain or Palin being pulled apart while the ludicrous promise above, unvetted by the press goes unchallenged.

Its time we question this claim since it is a blatant fabrication.
First all cars sold in the US in a year = about 7.7 million. (2006). Cars use about 68% of imported oil

Obviously when you do the math replacing 150,000,000 cars of the 250,000,000 out there will take over 30years to replace the cars if they were available – and by the way at a cost of about 3.75 Trillion $$$.
And we will do all this with no drilling, no ANWAR, no nukes?
Time to find out how Obama can make this ludicrous claim and not get hammered by the “media”. Obviously we know why don’t we.
