You all know that the latest polls have shown a McCain bounce, though the WSJ poll yesterday showed Obama still up one point nationally.

Today Fox reports the bounce may be fading, and Ohio in play for the first time ------ Ohio and Florida had been McCain states, Pennsylvania Obama's.

This is important because it take two of those three to win the presidency, historically.

Poll: Obama Edges Ahead of McCain in Ohio (http://elections.foxnews.com/2008/09/11/poll-obama-edges-ahead-of-mccain-in-ohio/)
FOXNews - 1 hour ago
by AP A new poll has Barack Obama edging ahead of Republican rival John McCain in Ohio. The Quinnipiac University survey of nearly 1400 likely Ohio voters shows 49 support Democrat Obama, 44 percent are for McCain.

It seems to be an unusually fluid race, so it will be fun to watch the polls.

I was starting to worry. McCain cant win if he is ahead in the polls.

The only poll that matters is the one in November. It will be up to the people in Ohio, Florida, and Pennsylvania to choose between a socialist pig and his empty promises, or the only man in this election ready to be commander in cheif.

It's going to be a close race, certainly not the landslide victory the dems were predicting.

Don't put it on my shoulders again! Doggone it!! :laugh2:

I don't want to be responsible for this mess again! I don't want to vote for either party and I don't want to be blamed again as this country gets worse off simply because I live in Florida. It just is not fair!! {inserts "whaaa whaaaa whaaaa" here} It is not my fault y'all ;) picked these two losers to represent this country. Why do I have to be held responsible if Obama wins? Why do I have to be held responsible if McCain wins? {inserts "whaaa whaaa whaaaa" here for good measure}

It's much worse than that --- the Guardian in Britain says the whole country will be to blame if Obama loses -- apparently he's the entire world's choice for American president, from Europe through Africa through South America and Asia.

This may be the only good reason I can think of for voting for McCain, of course.
