I disagree with Gutman's positioning.

If she feels that she truly is the best choice and the best candidate to help our country, how is that bad for her children? That's good for their future, is it not? Is it not a good example to set for the children?

If a man was the VP, and his child had a learning disability, nothing would be said. After all, the mother can take care of the child while sitting at home pregnant with her feet up, barefoot, traveling only from the living room to the kitchen.

As we've seen with the past president, personal needs get taken care of as necessary. Bush booked more travel miles than any other president, didn't he? Much of it was family affairs in Texas. This is not a criticism, family is important.
