What is a community organizer?

Oh, I suppose it could be anything one wants it to be.

A terrorist is a "community organizer".

The leader of a racist church is a "community organizer".

A union boss is a "community organizer".

I suppose in some respects it can be seen as necessary experience for the job of POTUS.

The democrat party. There are no community organizers that are republicans. It's a made up position among liberals to make them sound important.

The organizers demanded an apology from Alaska Governor Sarah Palin for her statement that community organizers have no “actual responsibilities” and launched a web site, to defend themselves against Republican attacks.

I don’t do this for a living, I’m currently in grad school, but as an undergraduate, I founded and chaired eating disorder awareness week at my school, so I feel like I did learn a thing or two about grassroots organizing. Anyways, us organizers, should organize some protests at Palin events

i run into them.... all...... the...... time..........

the are attorneys.....they sit in city design....planning and council meetings.....

they find out when projects or programs are filed....then they go to the local neighbor hood meeting and wipe everyone into a frezey about how the evil govt. or devlopers are trying to screw you and for 250 hr and a 10,000 retainer i will protect your rights......now these projects take years and there are dozens of hearings......

or you can call the ambulance chasers.....

Community organizers are those people who actually do good things. They don't do it for power or prestige or as republican do to remove individual rights, they do it because it is the Christian thing to do.

This is almost as great as watching people get pissed off at Obama insulting middle class America by saying they cling to their guns and their religion...

Except of course Obama insulted the PEOPLE and Palin only insulted the dolts who call themselves their "organizers".

The libs are so predictable. They even have to twist the smears. Palin wasn't smearing poor folks, she was smearing elitists who use huge amounts of money and get very little done.

Can anybody actually name one thing Obama did that was great during his tenure as a "community organizer"?
