It's funny how the left has began it's railing
In their contention that Johnny Mac was failing,
But right before their very eyes
And to everyone's utter suprise
He has introduced a VP named Palin
Now the right appears to be sailing
And soon the left fears they'll be trailing
So now the Dems rave and rant
Cause it's certain they obviously just can't
Substantiate one single bad thing about Palin.

If she's bringing liberarians like you around then she'll be an unstopable force!

I am a Libertarian Hawk and i will vote that way but my core beliefs are conservative. I as mentioned many times before do not prescribe to the abortion philosophy of the LP. I am personally against abortion. I tolerate this due to my party's oveerall stance on things that i feel CAN be obtained.......more liberty, less encroachment and less government. The republican party as a whole has left me....and you in recent years in an interest to "acheive the common good". They failed to hold true to the core beliefs that conservatives felt was always the reason they voted Republican.
Sarah Palin comes right from the mold of what I would want when I was a member of the Republican Party. I like her! She will be a dynamic force in future American politics no matter if the GOP wins or not. She is now on the stage. She will stay there.
Hopefully, this may be the shortcut we conservatives needed to acheive some of our platform goals. Most Libertarians are disgruntled Republicans who are willing to cost elections, shake the mixing bowl and risk to acheive. All Republicans have to do to get us back is listen. They have refused to do this. Libertarians hold dear the idea of Liberty and are willing to pay a price for it in the belief that it will "force" Republicans back to their platform of less government, a tax system that actually works and is fair, and recognize our liberty as Americans. We have to repeal these stupid laws if intrusion that threaten our ability to come and go with out being molested in public such as standing on the side of a highway while some overzealous police officer searches through our cars on a "routine" traffic stop. Being told we "have to this and have to that" because of our safety. Telling us we burdon our fellow Americans by not wearing a motorcycle helmet, tapping our phone calls, monitoring our bank accounts. Failing to recognize that as Americans we are free to choose what the hell we want to do, but ignoring that and creating law after law after law that is intrusive and chops away at the freedom tree everyday. A citizen has to be a damn lawyer to know what they can and can't do anymore.
I believe Sarah Palin is genuine. Absolutely genuine. It has nothing to do with her gender. She is the strongest offering of a true hearted conservative that has been offered an opportunity on the national stage in many years. She will withstand an onslaught of lefty jargin and rhetoric due to this fact. Given the chance she threatens to eliminate the progress of the left's intrusions of our lives and advance toward Socialism gained over the last thirty years.
I see this individual as having a unique opportunity to do more for our country than anyone in America today. I just hope she plays it properly and doesn't "sellout". I don't think she will but the establishment is powerful.
I will watch her closely and I hope everyone else does as well. She is only a VP candidate but 2012 is only a "heartbeat" away.

I would hardly say she was libertarian.

"Sure, she shots a gun and hates polar bears, but she is not a libertarian.
The only choice on the ballot this year to represent the some or any of the libertarian ideas and principles for the American people is Bob Barr and Wayne Root. The media must not be allowed to present this woman as a libertarian when she is not. The LP party has enough identity issues without being compared to this centrist candidate who supports Obama's energy policy and McCain's rightwing agenda."
