Latest Gallup polls show Obama with a lead of 45%-44%, and the GOP has barely even started jumping on Obama and his record, or lack of one. I think they'll start soon with "143" (how many days the Dem nominee has in Congress before his decision to run for President). They'll slowly chip away at him until November and expose the "change & hope" garbage.

It's very strange that the polls right now are neck-in-neck. Even Kerry and Gore were ahead throughout the summer. At this rate, either McCain has peaked or he's going to come out way ahead.

I will be happy if Obama loses in November - but I will not be jumping for joy should McCain win

I think McCain could potentially have a blowout. It may not seem like it now. But Obama is a loose cannon. The more the media focuses on him, the more he will slip up. The more he will look incredibly arrogant.

Like others I am not going to be jumping up and down at a McCain victory. but I honestly dont think Obama has a real chance.

A vote for John McCain is a vote against the fundamental principle of America, the right of the individual to lead their life privately without the government interfering.

I did not vote for Peanut Carter so I can't comment on the worst President ever elected

and any taxpayer who votes for Obama is like a chicken voting for Col Sanders

1)The Worst President we've ever had is James Buchanan. Under His administration there were outright rebellions. He is followed closely by Jimmy Carter. President Bush may not be among the greatest Presidents of all times, but he is far from the worst. You just have no concept of history.

2)You can repeat your statement against John McCain as many times as you want. But as long as you keep voting for the people who are actually campaigning for government interference in all of our lives, you have no credibility.

If that happens I would be more worried about the appeasement to the terrorists, while I watch the economy goes in the toilet

If Obama win, it will be a replay of Peanut Carter, then we have to find a Reagan conservative who can step up and clean up the mess
