I'll bet you that Midcan's answer will be that Obama is not liberal- he's more of a centrist. ;)

Heck no, I hope he suffers from all those bad liberal traits, such as personal freedom, helping the down and out, taxing corporations that send jobs overseas, taxing the hell out of the wealthy, raising minimum wage, putting SS in a lock box, bringing the troops home, appointing judges with values, instituting universal healthcare, starting a program to get us off fossil fuels, hell, I could go on and on, I'm hoping for a combination FDR, LBJ, Jimmy, and bit of the BS of Ronnie to drag everyone to a better land.
A vote for John McCain is a vote against the fundamental principle of America, the right of the individual to lead their life privately without the government interfering.

I think McTraitor should choose a Republican running mate with national office experience. A man of dignity, honor and intelligence who will respect his office and what he is expected to do. Or not do.
Most importantly, a man unafraid to publicly admit that he worships Satan.

What would Quayle know about Texas? The man obviously worships Satan. Which would make him a perfect running mate for McCain.
Besides, Quayle might be the only veep choice that wouldn't threaten McCain's intelligence. Or lack of such.
