Right wingers have been pissing and moaning about "left-wing bias" in the media for years. But you have to read between the lines, to decipher what they're really saying.

That's absolutely right. For the most part, stories are presented slanted from a left-leaning or left-friendly perspective on most of the other networks. Whereas Fox at least TRIES to present both sides. IMO Fox presents a number of talking heads who aren't afraid to call their peers (from other networks) on their crap.

MSNBC pretends to be fair and balanced but they too are NOT a liberal source of information. If they were, they would be talking about impeachment every day. Keith Olbermann is the most liberal guy on tv, and even he has Exxon as an advertiser. So even he isn't going to really expose them like they need to be exposed. Look at how the "liberal" media talked about Monica for 2 years straight. A liberal media wouldn't have done that. Or would a liberal media talk about Michelle Obama for a week and not Cindy McCain? Hardball is not "liberal".

If they are liberal, why did they have this guy on air? David Shuster suggested on air that the Clinton family had "pimped out'' daughter Chelsea in its campaign for Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential nomination.

Who's picking the stories they run? Station managers and station owners. They are loyal Bushies now, just like the Justice Department has been politicized, so has the media. They de-regulated the media and bought up every station. Now, even the "liberal" stations, are not as liberal as they should be.

Hear this! The media should be liberal. Liberal in a way where they are the rats of politics. I want them to expose both Democrats and Republicans for their corruption. But lately, they have been protecting the conservatives.

Do you think these people arguing this point know it and are playing dumb or are they really buying Rove's montra that "the media is libera"?

You can show them exactly how the media was bought up by big corporations and politicized. You can show them examples of how they pick and choose what stories to tell. Sure they might report that the war is going badly, but then they don't report that no politicial progress is being made.

So the right wingers can say the media is liberal because they don't report on the good news that comes out of Iraq, but they fail to realize that the news is also not telling us the most important things, like we are going bankrupt, the military is breaking, dozens of high level generals and admirals are resigning and against the Bush administrations plans to attack iran, or that Iraqi's really want us to leave, or how Iraq was all about oil.

they may have announced once that Bush's intelligence may have abeen flawed, or not quite 100% exactly.......

but that is far from saying he lied us into a war. If they were liberal, they wouldn't sugar coat it like they do.
