Today was my husband's first official Father's Day. He was at a loss at how to handle it. So we concentrated on our respective fathers.
My mom and dad will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary in a few months. My husband's parents just passed 41 years together.

my son woke me up this morning at 7 and said happy father's day we are going on a flashlight tour of the uss hornet....

from the engine room to the captains chair and even rode the elevator with a jet.....
