And... As for what Senator Coburn actually said- Barack Obama stretched the truth on this.
From an earlier PBS interview:


Coburn answered that "while abortion is not against the law now, if it were, states could use death penalty laws to punish the taking of innocent life."

"I believe when we take innocent life intentionally, except to save lives, that we are violating moral law," Coburn said. "Now, I understand what the law is. My hope would be that we would get back to a time when we recognize the value of life, and I think we're not."

Coburn also admitted to performing two abortions himself to save the lives of mothers who had congenital heart disease.

The words and actions of Senator Coburn are clearly a far cry from unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers. But, this didn't stop the the Senate's most liberal member from equating Coburn's words with terrorist Ayer's bombs.

Not only did Obama compare Tom Coburn to William Ayers, but on George Stephanopolous' TV program this morning, he compared McCain's support from Rev. John Hagee to Obama's support from William Ayers. Apparently, Rev. Hagee made some remarks about Catholics that didn't set well with Catholics, but comparing this to William Ayers, the terrorist, who said he wished he had killed more people?????? I can see that this fall's campaign is going to be waaay over the edge.
