My Winter Storm

I was given a digital camera for Xmas, and have taken a few photos, and I thought I'd show you some of them. :)
This photo was taken at the beach in Blairgowrie, about two hours from Melbourne. The sea here is often very rough, and just recently, a surfer drowned after being caught in a rip (http://s225.photobucket.com/albums/dd100/MichelleRyan2007/?action=view¤t=Jess052.jpg)
This is the Blairgowrie beach at sunset. We walked all the way there in a thunderstorm, which had thankfully ended by the time we arrived. (http://s225.photobucket.com/albums/dd100/MichelleRyan2007/?action=view¤t=Jess055.jpg)
This was taken at a place called Boneo Maze And Wetlands - to get to the wetlands, you had to walk a boardwalk, and were surrounded by plants and wildlife. I have honestly never seen anything so beautiful. (http://s225.photobucket.com/albums/dd100/MichelleRyan2007/?action=view¤t=Jess030.jpg)
This was taken at the end of the boardwalk. It's the beginning of the wetlands. Sadly, it wasn't too 'wet' as the rivers and streams had long since dried up from the drought. (http://s225.photobucket.com/albums/dd100/MichelleRyan2007/?action=view¤t=Jess040.jpg)
So, what do you think? I like them, they are the first photos I have taken with my camera, and for a first time, they are not that bad. :)
