I traded a lot during the NASDAC bubble and made buckets full of money but then it didn't require market knowledge. I watched the news and MStickertape channel all day long and watched trends for momentum trades... some stocks would go up $10-20 in one day and I'd buy them in bundles of $5,000 and place limit orders as I anxiously left the TV to go pick up my kids from school. I tried to catch some falling knives when the bubble broke and lost about half of my gains.... I took a couple trips to Disney World and bought a truck in the height of easy money and paid a lot of tax ... Couple years ago I started trading penny stocks but lost interest when I tied up too much money on one trade. There is a pretty good web site on penny stock trading if you are interested that has a debate forum to exchange info at this link http://pennystock.com/

I take mood swings and focus on trading for a while and then something around the house, an invention or something and of course just killing time here debating. Lately I'm building a junk windmill and debating here to take up my free time... that reminds me to check my Ameritrade account.
