Bill Clinton, campaigning in Wyoming, talks about the "better days that this country had during the first Clinton administration," and how the U.S. will "make a return to greatness during the second Clinton administration.

I admit to being a tad young during the Bill Clinton era, but I certainly don't remember any great amount of peace and prosperity.
Except maybe among cigar manufacturers.

Well, we did have the expansion of the economy, due to the tech boom.

correct.

As we had expansion in this economy from the real estate bubble....
not necessarily in one sector of the stock market, but all of it was affected by it, through the borrowing of equity in their homes being spent in one manner or another.
