i think that it is a good idea....

however, i am not certain how happy conservatives will be with MCCain, this could end up hurting them if mccain/kennedy immigration gets agreed upon....or even negotiated on!!!

Just because something hurts McCain it doesn't neccesarily hurt true REAL Republicans. It's not like the democrats have anything to gloat about on this issue.
