Every once in a while, I listen to a classic comedy album, just to remind myself of the era when comedians actually were funny.
One Richard Pryor routine from way back when is still relevant today. What with the furor over gays in the military.
I was listening to the news and there was this big stink about gay guys joining the army. One dude says "If you're gay, I don't want you in a foxhole with me."
I thought about it and it made sense. If you're gay, I don't want you in any of my holes!

Gab, you should check out some old Bob Newhart.
Richard Pryor was a classic. I remember going to the drive-in to see his movies, not the feature films, but his concert films. His appearances on Johnny Carson were classic as well.

I had all of his albums in college and could recite them word for word, he was the greatest.
Big Black Bertha, she weighed 250, her ass weighed 225. Dress never covered it, she'd lean over and ass for days! :laugh2::laugh2::laugh2:
Pryor is pretty great.
Who's everyone's favorite black standup? I know, I know, why's it gotta be black? But, if there's any medium where the race of the performer plays a huge, huge role, it's stand-up comedy.
Right now, I'm really liking Katt Williams. His comedy is smart and doesn't pander to a black audience (see his Michael Jackson routine for proof of this).
D.L. Hughley is pretty good, though his stuff is too "white people do this, black people do that" for me.

Bill Cosby was good..
Bill Cosby was good..
Sure was, as was Eddie Murphy. It's hard to believe he was only 21 when he did Delerious, he's got so much confidence, you'd think he was an old pro.
