Point of consideration, here. Being the overlooked nice guy for most of my life, I've watched women stick with guys who treat them like crap, and have a degree of experience in the area of getting the mickey taken out of me by women as well.

Most normally, guys don't start off treating a girl like crap, it doesn't even usually get rolling like that until the woman is not in a position to extricate herself easily (married, pregnant, living together in a place she can't afford on her own. Not always the woman who pulls that).

I do agree that some women in this country are taught to find a good man to "take care" of them. Take my friend Bethany, she was in Army ROTC in high school, and post high school, was looking to continue to eventually become an officer. Her mother, however, kept talking about how she needed to be "taken care of", and when things went wrong, convinced her daughter to stay in a *horrible* marriage, because her husband could take care of her. They would never have married in the first place, save that the mother kept telling her daughter how he could take care of her. Our children tend to become what we expect of them, and this situation is the result of parents only expecting daughters to do well enough to find a man to take care of.

However, this is not, by any means, the majority of women these days. The problem is in the method, and criteria we use to find potential mates. Most often, we end up looking for the exact kind of person that will not work with us, however much we might try to look for certain things. Just remember, in all likelihood, as you have issues, you are likely pulling people who have issues of their own.

Martin, since you don't want children you need to make sure whoever you date is one the same page.

I would say date women your age or older, since by then they will know for sure whether they want children or not.
They will also be finished with school and be financially self-seficient which seems to be another of your must haves.

Well I read through about 8 pages of this and I have to say WOW!!

Martin, since you don't want children you need to make sure whoever you date is one the same page.

I would say date women your age or older, since by then they will know for sure whether they want children or not.
They will also be finished with school and be financially self-seficient which seems to be another of your must haves.

Here's the bottom line brother... don't "go for" a woman. Just let things happen in a natural way. Go about your life and just wait to bump into somebody. If you don't, then your heart will never be any worse for wear. Just find yourself a fuck buddy that'll come over, milk your pipe and you can tell her to go home. Relationships aren't all what they're cracked up to be. Believe me. More of the friends I have ever known that are married bitch about the wife doing this or the husband doing that than I ever hear about them being happy. Fuck that man. They're all stressed out and have a hard time relaxing or enjoying themselves. What kind of life is that? Just don't try and rush into anything anm. There's no need.
