AUSTIN, Tex. - Dennis Johnson, the star NBA guard who was part of three championship teams including the Seattle Supersonics, died Thursday at 52.
"He is deceased and is in our building. He will be autopsied," said Mayra Freeman, a spokeswoman for the Travis County Medical Examiner's Office.
ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher says Johnson, who coaches the Austin Toros of the NBA Developmental League, collapsed and died during practice.
