Congressional hearing with Clemens

Anyone else watching this? I am leaning towards believing Clemens, mostly because McNamee just seems to be totally incredible. He always seems to be searching for the answers. Also, he has been shown to be a liar time and time again.

What gets me questioning Clemens is Ansy Pettite's testimony. Thats disturbing.

I thought Conseco said that Clemens had used the hormone. Also Clemens had somone shoot his wife with the hormone before a bathingsuit photo shoot. Clemens is someone I have never trusted nor liked. I think this issue goes a lot deeper then Clemens though.

It seems there is a cloud over athletes and drug use latley. Between Professional Wrestling and Baseball and I am sure other sports, I just have not followed them. I know the list Martin posted of the wrestlers who have died due to drug use and it is disterbing. I have actually seen longer lists then that on this issue.

What all can Congress really do on this issue honestly? These hearing are just a waste of time and tax payers money. Not much can be accomplished from one.

It is considered a sport. Just because it is fixed doesn't mean it's not a sport and these people are not athlete's. Also Vince McMahon has had to testify before the House and Senate before and recently and has had to provide documentation recently because of the Chris Beniot deal.
