the supreme court is considering the death penalty for child molesters, but what about rapists.

Depends on what they actually 'did'.

Word. A "sex offender" could have committed a lot of different things, from flashing to rape. Those are drastically different crimes that deserve drastically different punishments.

I also agree. This could be a young boy who had a consenting relationship with a young girl who was under age. Both could still be in high school. But for the majority of "sex crimes" I don't have any issues with maximum punishment.
