McCain Losing Votes To Obama in N.H.

NASHUA, N.H. -- Like many New Hampshire voters, Dave Montgomery considers himself a dyed-in-the-wool independent -- which in this state means he can vote in either the Republican or Democratic presidential primary when he goes to the polls Jan. 8.

This year, the semi-retired school bus driver from Milford finds himself torn between two candidates, one from each party: Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Sen. Barack Obama of (D-Ill.).

Montgomery likes McCain, he said, because "he seems to be enough of a rebel." He likes Obama for pretty much the same reason -- because he seems to be "his own man."

"I think either one of them could do the job," he said.

Ever thought about giving your own opinion before asking for others, pr? McCain is not at all worried about Obama or Clinton or Edwards. McCain needs to think about those that put him where he is and I don't think any of the above had much of a hand in that. Do you?

mccain is a RINO Pb... and the fact that all you liberals are all falling all over yourselves to defend him highlights that fact for all to see.

I do not personally understand the mccain hatred.

I understand the disagreements with his policies.

I dont agree with everything he does, but now that ive had time to see, that mccain stood on principle saying, I wont support a tax cut, without government agreeing to cut spending.

I dont see why he is evil.

on the mccain-feinfold, i can understand why people disagree with it, but his intentions were not evil here, he was trying to level the playing field... is it possible he was wrong, maybe, but he had the guts to attempt real change

on the illegal immigration issue, i dont agree with what he did, but he was honest, he had the courage to take an unpopular position, and he tried to do something about the issue, not just grand stand.

you can admire a man for taking a stand, even if its the wrong stand.

I might not like abortion, but i dont have to hate those who support it

same for the war, people dont seem to get you dont have to be enemies just cause you dont agree.

I believe our country will greatly benefit if we allow people to disagree and still be able to participate in the parties.

I was unhappy with how joe leiberman was treated, and im not happy about all the rino talk, now that i think about it.

the republican party is support to be a big tent party, not a one size fits all party.

People like john mccain and harold ford, should NOT only welcome but we encouraged in both parties, that is when true diversity of ideas is had.

anm... he is a sell out. He does NOT stand up for true conservative values. Now there is a MULTITUDE of examples IN THIS SECTION all about mccain being more of a liberal than a conservative. I've posted most myself, and you may even have to go back a page now, but please, read them before you get all mad.

There is many, many threads I have started here pard, in this section, most are highlighted with an exclamation point before the title. Some have already past onto the next page. Please check them out anm. Mccain has made his own liberal bed to lay in, not me. I'm just pointing out the fact that he is a RINO. Something the vast majority of "conservatives" already knows.

You are my pal here as well anm, and I want you to understand why it is I believe as I do.

I will check the board more thorougly.

Im not a mccain supporter at this point.

I prefer romney, as he will be better on illegals then mccain can be.

I am not officially endorsing anyone yet, because the two i wanted :(, tancredo and hunter are out or cant win :(

Awwwwww, you're just bitching and complaining again, pr. Are you proud of yourself? You don't act as if you are.

McCain is more of a Republican than you ever dreamed of being yourself, cowgirl. McCain is also an American Hero which is something you have only read about in books, newspapers and magazines. I really don't know of any liberal that is falling anywhere to defend McCain but that is your perception and you are entitled to it. This liberal thinks that John McCain has already done his share to protect himself and your sorry ass from whatever danger either of you ever imagined or felt.

I don't apologize for my service and I don't expect John McCain will either. What's your excuse, again?

mccain is not a bad guy, but i strongly disagree with him on his pro-amnesty agenda earlier in 2007. It has bothered me, and now seeing his long record of it, i cannot in good conchence support him.

I was leaning toward romney, then mccain.

Now im hearing huckabee will deal with it.

Illegal aliens are ruining this country by their refusal to learn and speak english, their drain on our schools, and the housing they take away from americans just to name a few.

I am proud that john can work with those he disagrees with, im glad leiberman had the stones who he thought was best.

I think john is right about cutting spending, i think he is absolutely right that we need too.

As is he an american hero

but i wont vote for a man, who has such an abysmal record on illegals, and who tried to give amnesty to them.

It is not acceptible in my humble opinion.

Illegals must leave the u.s.a., whether they leave voluntarily or are deported.

"cowgirl"... you got a thing about cowgirls don't you Pb. Something happened at one point in your life where a little cowgirl gave you a rise in your jeans, and now you fantasize about a cowgirl. Well that's cute Pb... but you'll have to stick to looking up kiddy porn on the internet, because I'm a man, OK? Ooooooohhh I'm sorry. Did I hurt your widdo feelings now? Well I tell ya what... go on over to NAMBLA.com, because they know all about your obsession with little cowgirls. OK?

Get some help buddy... we're all pulling for ya.

"Cowgirl"? You don't know what a cowgirl is all about, pr? I didn't think so. Just is what is your obsession with the little girls? Are you registered? If not I suspect you should be. If I catch you even looking at my grandaughters I'll gladly mash your head and save the state the trouble and expense of prosecuting you.

Senator McCain is not at all worried about the Democrat's as he knows he will slaughter them all in the general election with very little effort.

Oh now Pb... you know it's against the rules to make threats against members. And you might just be stepping into something that's a tad over your head.... think about it. K?

Back off now... nobody is going to hurt anybody.

There is no republican on the ticket, even Ron Paul or Sambo Tancredo that can beat any Democrat on the ticket even Mike Gravel or Dennis Kucinich. gwb wasted your asses for at least another 16 years or so.

"Slaughter"? That's why the republicans are so disdainful for otherwise peace loving Americans.

Psycho - You're skating perilously close to things you know better than to get into. Please cease with references to children and save the threats. I think your post is made thinking you are being funny, but some things cross the line even when meant to be humorous.
